D2PLAN uses artificial intelligence to save time in design and day-to-day work. This page explains where, with which providers, and what happens to your data.
Where AI is used
- Smart planning in the studio: suggestions for room layouts, furniture, lighting and building systems.
- The assistant: answers questions and carries out actions in the service on request. The chat states that it is an AI.
- Realistic images: visualising a space from the design.
- Recognition: turning a sketch, a plan or a room scan into an editable design.
Which providers
Anthropic, Google (Gemini) and OpenAI. Each request sends only what it needs: the relevant design data, the text written, and for the image tools, the image. Details are in Subprocessors.
Your data is not used for training
We use only paid services whose terms state that data is not used to train models. We do not use your content to train models either.
Results are suggestions
AI results may be wrong. They do not replace a professional's review, site measurements and binding standards (see section 5 of the Terms of Service). Changes the assistant makes go into the action history, and can be undone.
Labelling
A realistic image generated by AI is labelled as such when it is exported or shared, in line with the transparency obligations in Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
Allowances
Each plan has a monthly allowance for these tools, shown in the service.
